Lumen Printing

Lumen printing uses the sun and photographic paper to create unique, ethereal cameraless images. We will discuss composition techniques, arrange plants and flowers from the garden on paper, and watch the dreamy colors and one-time-only results emerge. We will experiment with different plants and papers to create a range of tonality and colors.

$100. All materials Included.
Snacks and a simple vegan lunch served. Bring your own if you have dietary restrictions.

Instructor Bio: Christine Huhn is a visual artist and cultural heritage professional who grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, less than five miles from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This connection to the landscape has deeply influenced her work, which focuses on preserving cultural landscapes through film photography and historic photographic processes. She received her bachelor of fine arts in photography from the State University of New York at New Paltz and her master of arts in historic preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design. She lives in San Francisco and has exhibited her work in both group and solo shows.
