Slow down and spend a few hours learning the contemplative art of pine needle basket making with Judith Thomas. Using Oaxacan pine needles gathered right here at Western Hills Garden, participants will learn the techniques for coiling and stitching a basket by hand.

The process requires patience and focus, but that’s part of its pleasure. Judith will offer expert guidance throughout, making this a welcoming workshop for beginners as well as those with experience.

Come make something beautiful from the Garden, one stitch at a time.
