Summer Friday Member Wine and Wander – July 24

Join us for a relaxed summer evening in the garden. Once a month this summer, members are invited to gather with fellow plant lovers and new friends for a featured tasting with a local winemaker, seasonal highlights from the garden, and plenty of time to wander at your own pace with a glass in hand. We are thrilled to announce that July’s wine partner is Alma Fria.

Wine & Wander offers an exclusive opportunity to experience Western Hills Garden in the golden hour light in the company of others who support the garden. A perk of membership, please join us to experience the beauty and bounty of summer evenings in the garden.

Wine Partner: Alma Fria was founded in 2012 by two friends and veteran wine professionals, Carroll Kemp and Jan Holtermann. Their dream became a reality when they found a special vineyard amongst the coastal redwoods, near the villages of Annapolis and Sea Ranch. Today, Alma Fria makes wine from a handful of West Sonoma Coast and Mendocino vineyards. Organic and biodynamic farming are integral to their soil-first approach that respects nature’s infinite complexity. The purpose of Alma Fria wines is to reveal the complexity of the terroir by producing elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
