These are not “stand still and smile” portraits. Stephanie doesn’t direct so much as join in—crouching, circling, letting things unfold. Whether you’re arriving with little ones, grown kids, a partner, a friend, or simply on your own, these sessions are about capturing something true: a connection, a mood, an experience in the garden.

No instructions required –other than no solid black or white clothing or items with large logos/writing.

Stephanie Rausser has over two decades of experience photographing for brands like Apple, Nikon, and Target, She has a gift for meeting people in each moment and drawing out what’s real. She sees photography as an extension of life and understands that humanity and individuality is what makes for strong photographs. She works to create joy and connection in every session.
